Nigel Burns

 

Nigel Burns is a trial attorney with decades of experience handling complex civil, criminal, and business litigation. Originally from Ireland, he earned his first law degree at University College Cork before receiving his U.S. law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he was selected as graduate speaker for his graduating class.
 

Burns has built a reputation as a fierce and respected litigator, having tried numerous cases and secured significant verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. His results include a $12.5 million probate settlement, a $1.4 million medical malpractice verdict against the County of Los Angeles, a $4.25 million wrongful death policy-limits settlement, and multiple six- and seven-figure recoveries across a wide range of matters. Collectively, he has secured more than $125 million in verdicts and settlements.

In addition to serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, Nigel handles probate and complex complex elder financial abuse litigation, as well as business disputes and others trials.
